Lennox Academy Open House
Mission:
The first-annual Open House event opens Lennox Academy's doors to aspiring middle school students and their families, as well as any person interested in learning more about the school. This year, Lennox Academy showcased the Lennox Panther's work and designs in this event, as well as other competitions the school has taken part in.
Among the gallery were puzzles that students created in their engineering classes.
Many community members came to visit the school's campus and see the projects.
Lennox Academy participates in the annual High School Innovation Challenge (hosted by Northrup Grumman) and has placed multiple times. The robot shown above won first place in the 2013-2014 school year (award shown to the left of the robot). This year, the team placed third with an RC blimp (not shown; award shown to the right of the robot).
